If the Traffic Commissioner has refused you an Operator’s Licence, we can help

Delayed O Licensing Applications

Although the Central Licensing Unit (CLU) in Leeds aims to complete Operator Licence applications within nine weeks, there are far too many occasions when this simply does not happen. This can be incredibly frustrating for applicants and a lot of their time can be wasted chasing without really getting a clear answer as to when their application will be dealt with.

We all know that the CLU is short on resources, and the Traffic Commissioners are very busy which can result in delayed applications. Therefore anything the operator can do to make their job easier can mean the licence is granted more quickly. Unfortunately the applicant is often unfamiliar with the procedure and doesn’t know what is expected of them.

At Pragma, we have dealt with countless new applications and variation applications and can help you if you are concerned about the length of time your application is taking. We can advise whether it’s because you’re not giving them the correct information, or whether it’s because the caseworker is not dealing with your application efficiently. In either case we can help you to ensure your application is dealt with expeditiously.
